Blackwing pencils were favored by award-winning creators throughout the 20th century. Despite a cult following, they were discontinued in the 1990s. Devotees began paying as much as $40 on eBay for a single pencil.
We acquired the brand in 2010 and brought it back for a new generation of artist, musicians, and every day people looking to unplug and live more mindfully.
We teamed up with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame to create this limited edition Blackwing X Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Slate Notebook. Each A5 notebook contains 160 pages of 100 GSM rolled paper and futures. Our signature lay flat binding, matte cover, and pencil holster. It also includes an exclusive Blackwing x Rock Hall pencil with our balanced graphite core.
