A UK chart hit LP featuring a ground-breaking blend of heavy blues, hard rock, pastoral folk and acoustic songs. The original album was blighted by poor sound quality when the master tape meant to cut the LP was lost. With no time to create a new master, a much-played and worn listening tape was substituted, resulting in a dull, muffled sound. The band were horrified when they heard the album played on the radio but to make matters worse, six months after release, Immediate Records went into liquidation and the LP disappeared from record stores. Later reissues (including CD's) were dubbed from old vinyl LPs with even poorer sound quality - until now! After years of searching, safety master tapes were found in New York which meant the very best sound could be achieved.
